Who is responsible

Visiting these pages

These pages are hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA); the server functions run in Vercel's Frankfurt region. To deliver a page, Vercel processes the technical data every request carries: your IP address, the address requested, the time, and your browser's user agent. This is necessary to show the pages and keep them secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

These pages set no cookies and use no analytics, tracking or advertising. The fonts are bundled with the site when it is built and are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google. The film and its stills are served from our own domain as well.

The contact form

When you write to us we store what you enter (name, email, company if given, message) in our database. The database is operated for us by Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt). With each message we also record your IP address and browser user agent in a security log, to stop abuse: at most five messages an hour are accepted from one address. A short notice of a new message (name, email and the start of the message) can be sent to our team's internal notification channel.

We use the details only to answer you. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by email, and for the security log our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Only the people at Arco Financials who answer enquiries read the messages. We do not sell or share them; Vercel and Supabase process them on our behalf.

We keep a message and the related security-log entry only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and delete them earlier if you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them.

The terminal

“Enter terminal” leads to a sign-in for our own staff on a separate address. Signing in there sets the cookies the terminal needs to work (a session, and for passkeys a short-lived challenge); none are set on these pages.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and to withdraw your consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Write to the email above. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work or where you think the infringement happened (Art. 77 GDPR).
